Hunger Buster Time...

LIBERTY, June 3, 2013 - The lunch program that feeds hungry children through the summer with the assistance of awesome community volunteers! Last summer, the Hunger Buster Programs served over 47,000 lunches to children in the Liberty area.

Hunger Buster Lunch Program begins June 10th and the following sites will coordinate with Liberty ISD Food Service Dept. to distribute lunches: Liberty Middle School, San Jacinto Elem., New Work Family Worship Center, Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, St. Miles Baptist Church (Ames), Lily of the Valley Baptist Church (Oilfield), VFW Liberty, St. John’s Baptist Church(146), Lonestar Baptist Church (563) and Liberty City Park Pavilion. Others may be added.

Volunteers still needed! The next Hunger Buster Volunteer Meeting will be held, Monday, JUNE 17th from 9:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church Parish Hall, 2041 Trinity Ave., Liberty, TX 77575. Volunteers will receive a badge (once screened) and a t-shirt. All volunteers need to complete the Contribution Form and try to attend the meetings!
