Man Arrested for Exposing Himself at Family Dollar
LIBERTY, July 20, 2013 - Liberty Police report that around 7:00 PM on Friday afternoon, Officer responded to the Family Dollar Store on Main Street in Liberty to investigate the theft of merchandise from the store.
Clerks at the Family Dollar alleged, according to Police, that two men later identified as John “John John” Johnson and his brother James John had come into the store and had both left. It was alleged that James Johnson had stolen some merchandise and left the store and that his brother John John Johnson had become belligerent. Store clerks asked John John to leave the store, which upset him and was the motivation for next action, which was to expose his genitals to the clerks.
Police were unable to locate James Johnson who had apparently the area and are continuing to investigate the allegation that he had shoplifted form the store.
Police did locate John John Johnson near the intersection of Main Street and Mrtle and placed him in custody while completing their investigation into the allegation that he had exposed himself to the clerks.
After their investigation John “John John” Johnson was arrested on charges of indecent exposure and transported to the Liberty County Jail.
