Who Spends the Most on Energy?

WASHINGTON, September 9, 2013 – According to the US Department of Energy of the 50 states, Texas, North Dakota, Wyoming and Louisiana spend the most per capita on energy of all forms including residential, commercial, transportation and industrial. The US Average per capita energy consumption is $3,460 per year and Texas is between $5,000 and $6,000 dollars per capita per year nearing twice the national average.
