Drug Deal Gone Bad II

LIBERTY, September 30, 2013 - An offense that was first reported as being an attempted car-jacking by Michael Dendy on Thursday, September 26th in the City of Ames, Texas and later investigation was found to be a drug deal that had not gone exactly as expected was brought to an end with the arrest of Klynt Alan Robertson, age 24 of the Raywood area in East Liberty County. At approximately 7:30 am on Saturday, Sgt. Bubba Pierson along with Deputy’s Robert Dunn and Gordon Bean arrested Robertson at his residence on a warrant charging him with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon. He offered no resistance.

Lead Investigator Sgt. Billy Knox and his partner, Sgt. Joel Davila interviewed Klynt Robinson who admitted to the attack.

The female who had been with Robinson at the time of the attack was also brought in and questioned but it was found she had no involvement and was released without charges.

Klynt Alan Robinson, who has several previous drug related felony arrest, was placed in the Liberty County jail on the Aggravated Assault charge and a $25,000 bond. He is presently still in jail.
