Criminal Trespass and Indecency at Liberty City Park

LIBERTY, January 9, 2012 - On Sunday at 4;55 PM, January 6, 2013, Officers with the City of Liberty Police Department were dispatched to the Liberty City Park in reference to a male occupying the women restroom. Officers arrived and found the suspect identified as Orlando Elmer Cook age 33 from Ames.

Officers found that Orlando Cook had received a criminal trespass warning for the Liberty City Park and he was arrested for criminal trespass.

During further investigation and after interviewing witnesses oncerning the incident, Detectives at the Liberty Police Department obtained a warrant for Cook for attempted indecency with a child by exposure.

The warrant was signed by Justice of the Peace Stephen Hebert.

At this time Orlando Cook is still in Liberty County Jail.
