Workman Suffers Fall in Liberty

LIBERTY September 16, 2013 - Around 2:30 PM on Monday afternoon a mechanical worker suffered a fall at the Norwood Residence in Liberty at the corner of San Jacinto  and Trinity Streets.

According to Liberty Fire Chief, Fed Collins who responded to the scene there were no witnesses to the fall and it was unclear if the workman fell from the ladder leading to the roof of the residence or from the roof itself.

The workman was working with mechanical contractors Chapman A/C and Heating.

The workman fell near a ladder onto the concrete car park at the home facing Trinity Street.

According to Chief Collins Life Flight was unable to fly due to weather conditions and the workman would be transported by another air ambulance company for by ground ambulance to an out of town hospital.
