LIBERTY, October 31, 2013 – The City of Liberty is investigating three auto burglaries that occurred last week. The first occurred in Travis Park when a vehicle was broken into and a firearm was taken on October 28, 2013. Two vehicles were burglaries in the Treetop Terrace Subdivision on Pin Oak Street belonging to a husband and wife couple and in both cases a firearm was taken from each vehicle. The vehicles were burglaries on night of October 25, 2013. Liberty Police still have all three cases under investigation but there has been no break in these cases and the property stolen has yet to be recovered.

LIBERTY, October 28, 2013 - On October 28th the Burglary of a residence was reported in the 230 block of Magnolia Street. The woman of the house had gone to work around 1:00 PM and returned home around 9:40 PM to find her back door open and missing were her three pit bull puppies. Police are still investigating.

LIBERTY, October 23, 2013 - A robbery occurred in the parking lot of Jack-in-the-Box in Liberty around 6 PM on October 23, 2013. The incident got started when a man asked for some money. Taken in the robbery was a purse, money and credit cards. The actor in this case was a man and the victim was a woman.

LIBERTY, October 26, 2013 - A theft occurred at the Scottish Inn and Suites on US 90 in Liberty around 11:00 PM on October 26, 2013 when a man ask another for some Kleenex to blow his nose. The man went to his room to retrieve the Kleenex and left the door open when the other man went in and took the man’s cell phone. The actor fled in a maroon SUV.
