LIBERTY October 17, 2013 - The City of Liberty Police Department handled the following cases last week.
Citizen Fails to Return Library Books LIBERTY, October 17, 2013 – Last week the City of Liberty Police Department issued a Notice to Appear for Injury Defacing or Failing to Return Books or other Property to Leah McAdams age 47 of Liberty. The citation required here to appear in the City of Liberty Municipal Court of Judge Mike Little. She is accused of failing to return several books to the Liberty Municipal Library valued at $184.14.
Man Arrested for Public Intoxication LIBERTY, October 17, 2013 – The City of Liberty Police Department received a call concerning an unwanted person at the Inn at Liberty Motel on October 13, 2013 at 11:33 PM. Once on the scene the responding Officer spoke to the girlfriend of the unwanted person who wanted him to leave.
Two Cases of Theft at Trinity Valley Electric LIBERTY, October 17, 2013 – When the business owner arrived on October 10, 2013 at 8:47 AM he told officers that the tires and wheels from a 1994 Ford Mustang parked at the business had been stolen the night before and a trailer loaded with rebar had also been stolen.
Pickup Stolen from Tower AutoPlex LIBERTY, October 17, 2013 – A 2006 Dodge Dakota Pickup was stolen from Tower AutoPlex on US 90 in Liberty and was discovered missing on October 10, 2013. The vehicle had no license plates.
Warrant Served the Two Arrests at Wal-Mart LIBERTY, October 17, 2013 – Officers were called to the Liberty Wal-Mart on October 12, 2013 by employees in reference to two subjects in the store that appeared to be intoxicated. They appeared to be breaking into radio boxes but had not concealed any items.
Paul Cole age 35 of Liberty was discovered to have an outstanding arrest warrant out of Liberty County and was arrested. The other, Christopher Citizen age 31 of Liberty was arrested for Public Intoxication with Three Prior Convictions and transported to the Liberty County Jail.
