Ex-Boyfriend takes Revenge
LIBERTY, June 15, 2013 - Around 10:30 PM on Friday Officers Walter and Longoria of the City of Liberty Police Department responded to the Residents Suits Motel just west of FM 563 on US 90 in Liberty.
According to Officer Walter witnesses at the motel observed a white Chevy pickup deliberately crash into the rear of a parked silver pickup pushing it over the parking block and into the front wall of a motel room.
The force of the collision caused extensive damage to the front and rear of the silver pickup and pushed the air conditioner through the wall of the motel room putting a curve in the brick wall and broke the plate glass window in the room.
According to Officer Walter, investigation revealed that the prime person of interest sought by police in this incident was the ex-boyfriend of Coleen Arceneaux age 36 of Dayton, who owned the silver truck and was staying at the motel Friday evening.
Early Saturday morning Officers Reese and O'Hanlon of the City of Liberty Police Departmnent spotted the white Chevy pickup on FM 563 and followed it to the McDonald's on US 90 in Liberty.
Carol Lee Burrell age 59 of Moss Hill was taken into custody, charged with Criminal Mischeif greater that 1,500 and less than 20,000, a State Jail Felony, and transported to the Liberty County Jail.
