Constable Tim Allison Indicted in Harris County

HOUSTON, February 14, 2013 - According to the Harris County District Clerk’s Office Constable Timothy Allison of Liberty has been indicted by a Harris County Grand Jury on the Misdemeanor Charge of Official Oppression and his bond was set at $1,000.00 Dollars.

Allison is currently out on bond.

The long time Constable in Liberty County is 53 years old and resides in Liberty.

The case has been assigned to the 176th Criminal Court in Harris County.

As previously reported by The Police News in Harris County the indictment stems from Allison’s attempt in Harris County to get a relative's vehicle released from a towing company after being towed because he thought the tow was illegal without paying the towing charges. Allison put handcuffs on a towing company employee and placed the employee in back of a patrol vehicle when his actions were stopped Harris County Law Enforcement according to reports in the Police News.
