Dayton Man Arrested for Theft of Beer and Other Items

LIBERTY, Sepetmber 18, 2013 - On September 11, 2013 Officers with the City of Liberty Police Department answered a call from Wal-Mart and discovered that Tony Adams age 30 of Dayton had passed out of the store beyond all points of sale without paying for his merchandise.

The property Adams is accused of shoplifting consisted of 5 cases of Bud Light, two shirts, some pants and sox.

The value of the merchandise was $201.00.

Adams was taken into custody, charged with Organized Retail Theft and transported to the Liberty County Jail.

Adams has a lengthy criminal history including arrests for Possession of a Controlled Substance and Deadly Conduct.
