Fatal Accident on SH 146

MONT BELVIEU July 30, 2013 - A tragic one-vehicle accident involving a Ford Expedition with six occupants occurred shortly after midnight on Monday. According Chief Blasdel the vehicle left the roadway collided with a culvert and flipped five times ejecting several of the occupants.

Mont Belvieu Police Chief Virgil Blasdel confirmed with i-dineout.com this morning that the Ford Expedition was traveling north on SH 146 just inside Liberty County and was occupied by three adults and three children.

The accident claimed the life of an adult female passenger from Baytown.

The driver is a resident of Dayton, TX.

All names of driver, passengers and the deceased are being withheld at this time and should be available sometime later today.

Justice of the Peace Barry Graves conducted the inquest on scene in Mont Belvieu early this morning pronouncing the deceased Baytown, female passenger dead at the scene.
