Interested in being a Pro in the Kitchen!

LIBERTY, October 29, 2013 - New 4-H Cooking Clubs are starting up and there will be an orientation and hands-on cooking camp December 10th from 5:30 – 8:00p.m. If you are in grades 3rd through 12th, and have an interest in learning your way around a kitchen, then you are welcome to attend the kick-off meeting December 10th. Parents/Adult Volunteer Leaders welcome to come! Help is appreciated! Fun activities will include “Food Safety Jeopardy”, “Food Challenge”, and “Cooking Show Host.” The Entry Fee for 2013-2014 4-H Cooking Club for active/enrolled 4-H members is $10 and $35 for non-4-H members (includes 4-H enrollment fee of $25).

There will be additional tours/camps throughout the school year, and a summer 4-H Cooking School. Learn more about how you can participate in Food Shows, Food Quiz Bowls, Food Challenge, and more contests or gain career related skills. Time for kids to shine and show off their skills and knowledge about healthy living and receive awards for their hard work!

Entry Fee is payable to Liberty County 4-H and will be accepted at the door for pre-registered kids. Location information will be provided closer to camp date! Depending on how many participate will determine the location of the camp (Liberty, TX).
