Pasture Management Seminar And Pesticide Applicator Recertification Training

LIBERTY, January 3, 2013 - The Liberty and Chambers County Offices of Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service will offer a Pasture Management Seminar and Recertification Training for Texas Department of Agriculture license holders on THURSDAY, JANUARY 10, 2013 at WHITES PARK EXHIBIT HALL IN ANAHUAC. Participants will receive 6 TDA CEUs. This year’s topics will include Feral Hog Control, Brush Control and Prescribed Burning, Forages, Water Quality and Soil Fertility. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. with the training beginning at 9:00 a.m. and ending at approximately 3:45 p.m. A registration fee of $25.00 is payable at the door but those wanting to attend must RSVP to the Extension Offices in Chambers or Liberty County by the close of business day on Wednesday, January 9, 2013 to cover the noon meal and training materials.
