Police Respond to Distrubance LIBERTY, July 20, 2012 - Around 9:30 PM, while Officers were wrapping up an arrest in the parking lot of Wal-Mart, an emergency, priority call came from the dispatcher over the radio, dispatching them to the parking lot of Chili’s where a physical disturbance was in progress. Due to the emergency nature of the call, Liberty County SO and Constable Timothy Allison who were nearby on patrol responded in their patrol units as well. Officer Kyle Cornelius responded from the parking lot of Wal-Mart on foot, in a run, to the Chili’s Parking lot where several subjects were engaged in the disturbance.
According to Officer Cornelius, after investigating the incident, it was determined that Moyer was intoxicated and stated he was. He had gone into the Chili’s Bar and was using foul language directing his verbal attacks at some of the female customers and was creating a disturbance that spilled over into the parking lot.
