Texas Youth Tobacco Awareness Program LIBERTY, June 13, 2012 - The Texas Youth Tobacco Awareness Program (TYTAP) is a 8 hour class. Minors who are ticketed for purchasing or possessing tobacco products and must attend a tobacco awareness program and/or do community service. Failure to attend the tobacco awareness program may result in a suspension of the Minor's driver's license. A parent or legal guardian must be present at time of registration.
