July 2012 STAAR EOC & TAKS Testing Information

DAYTON, June 13, 2012 - Below is information conerning the upcoming Testind for STAAR EOC & TAKS.

When: July 9-13, 2012
Where: Dayton High School (for both Dayton High School and Dayton Night School Academy students as well as out of school students needing to pass TAKS to receive their high school diploma)

Schedule:

TAKS Exit level re-test tutorials:
Monday July 2 - Social Studies – 9:00-10:00
Thursday July 5 – English Language Arts – 9:00-12:00
Tuesday July 10 – Math – 7:30-8:30
Thursday July 12 – Social Studies – 7:30-8:30

TAKS Exit level re-tests: (all testing begins at 9:00 AM – check-in will begin at 8:45 AM)
Monday July 9 – English Language Arts
Tuesday July 10 – Math
Wednesday July 11 – Science
Thursday July 12 – Social Studies

STAAR EOC testing information: Students who passed their STAAR EOC tests but wish to re-test to raise their score must register online. Registration deadline is Monday June 18 at 3:00 PM. Go to http://dayton.tx.schoolwebpages.com/education/dept/dept.php?sectiondetailid=7990& and click on the Summer STAAR EOC Registration Information tab. If you do not have access to a computer to register online, you may call Dayton High School at 258-2510 and someone will assist you in getting registered.

STAAR EOC test schedule: (all tests will begin at 8:00 AM, with check-in beginning at 7:45 AM)

Monday July 9 – English I Writing
Tuesday July 10 – English I Reading
Wednesday July 11 – Algebra I / Algebra II
Thursday July 12 – Biology
Friday July 13 – World Geography
