Students Visit SpiritHorse Liberty Therapeutic Riding Center LIBERTY, May 2, 2012 - Donna Weibelhaus, Executive Director of SpiritHorse Liberty Therapeutic Riding Center informed i-dineout.com about the recent visits by students to their facility. On April 24, Ms. Williams Life Skills class and on May 1, Ms. Prather's Life Skills class enjoyed a field trip to SpiritHorse Liberty. Both classes arrived at SpiritHorse about 8:30 AM. We fed and brushed the horses and then "tacked up" for rides. The students enjoyed the cloverleaf barrel pattern and threw "wigglies" (a squishy lizard or dinosaur) in a bucket, first with the right hand and then the left. Students enjoyed a picnic lunch before each student decorated his/her own visor. Students also participated in stick horse races and played horse bingo. The students all left with their own decorated visor, a ribbon, and a smile in the early afternoon. Thank You Liberty ISD for sharing your students with SpiritHorse!
