Dayton Man Seriously Injured in One-Vehicle Crash
DAYTON, November 22, 2012 - Around 10:00 PM on Wednesday night a Dayton man was seriously injured when his pickup traveling west crossed the eastbound lanes and rolled over ejecting him from the vehicle in the 6300 block of US90 west of Dayton.
The Dayton Volunteer Fire Department responded to the scene, as did Liberty County EMS.
The Ford pickup suffered severe damage and the top of the truck was crushed down to the level of the hood.
Dayton VFD closed US 90 and established a landing zone for Life Flight in the eastbound lanes where Life Flight landed and transported the Ryan Heath Robinson age 26 of Dayton to Houston for treatment.
The highway was closed during the landing, clean up and investigation of this accident.
Little is yet known as to the cause of this crash. The investigation is ongoing by the Dayton Police Department.
