HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

LIBERTY, June 5, 2012 - TODAY AND TONIGHT HAZARDOUS WEATHER IS NOT EXPECTED TODAY. A FEW THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE TODAY BUT SHOULD REMAIN BELOW SEVERE LEVELS. SOME STORMS MAY BE STRONG WITH GUSTY WINDS...FREQUENT LIGHTNING AND LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL.

WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY SCATTERED THUNDERSTORM ACTIVITY IS EXPECTED FOR THE END OF THE WEEK AND THE WEEKEND. AN UPPER LEVEL LOW ALONG WITH A STALLED FRONTAL BOUNDARY AND DEEP MOISTURE WILL SUPPORT SCATTERED THUNDERSTORM ACTIVITY ACROSS SOUTHEAST TEXAS EACH DAY. THE MAIN THREAT WILL BE LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL WITH GUSTY WINDS AND FREQUENT LIGHTNING IN STRONGER STORMS. MOST AREAS COULD RECEIVE A HALF INCH TO AN INCH OF RAINFALL WITH SOME ISOLATED AREAS OF 2 TO 3 INCHES.
