At 5:00pm, Langetree will provide live entertainment featuring local artist Valencia Arceneaux, for a multi-cultural, musical experience.
At any given month of the year, freedom is celebrated in one country or another. This year, join Langetree in a celebration of local cultures. Juneteenth celebrates liberation of slaves throughout Texas. The 4th of July celebrates our national Independence Day. Coming in September is Mexico’s Independence Day. On July 8th, Langetree celebrates them all and the Retreat Center’s anniversary.
Ten years ago, Langetree opened as Langetree DUCK FARM Retreat & Eco Center. Having survived three hurricanes, Langetree remains dedicated to serving youth and their families, and providing the community with hands on eco and sustainability workshops. While that underlying mission has not changed, the center has shorted its name to Langetree Retreat and Eco Center, to highlight its services as a retreat host and ecological workshop center.
Make Langetree your home away from home. Boasting a non-profit Bed & Breakfast, the 100 acre Langetree Retreat and Eco Center is just the place for your next retreat, family reunion, or overnight stay for business travelers to relax in-between their busy schedules while away from their family.
Contact Barbara Lange today at 936-587-4325 for your visit. The website remains www.duckfarm.org, and the Center is now on Facebook at http://www.facebook.com/pages/Langetree-Retreat-Eco-Center/444526138911455. Be sure to join with the community in person at 3:30pm for the July 8th Freedom Celebration at Langetree Retreat & Eco Center, 2825 CR 190 in Liberty.
