Floyd Boyett to Speak at LCGS Meeting

LIBERTY, June 6, 2012 - The Liberty County Genealogical Society is pleased to announce that Mr. Floyd Boyett will be their guest speaker at the June 19 meeting. Mr. Boyett will speak about his recent experiences using genealogical DNA testing to further his family research. DNA testing for family research has become a very popular method to connect with previously unknown families and to prove ancestral origins. Mr. Boyett is a Beaumont native and graduate of Lamar University. He is Vice Chairman of Hardin County Historical Commission and is the current President of Hardin County Genealogical Society.

The Liberty County Genealogical Society meets at 10AM on the third Tuesday of each month in the DAR Meeting Room behind the historical Cleveland-Partlow House on Grand Avenue in Liberty. Society members are encouraged to attend what promises to be a very interesting presentation. Visitors are welcome at this meeting.
