Two-Vehicle Crash on FM 1960

DAYTON, November 18, 2012 - Late Saturday night a Chevy pickup was pulling out of the Chevron Convenience Store on FM 1960 just west of SH 321 to travel east back toward Dayton and struck a green Ford pickup occupied by a driver a two young passengers.

According to Officer Robbie Thornton of the Dayton Police Department the collision caused the Ford pickup to loose control and roll over in the ditch on the north side of the roadway.

According to Officer Kole Holden the driver of the Chevy pickup was Jesus Torres age 33 of Highlands, TX.

The driver of the Ford pickup was Guillero Aguilar age 17 of Dayton.

Liberty County EMS responded to the scene, however injuries sustained in the accident did not require anyone to be transported to the hospital.

Both drivers received citations in the accident for No Driver’s License. Additionally Torres received a citation for Failed to Yield Right of Way.
