Dayton Driver Arrested for DWI LIBERTY, August 19, 2012 - Just before 1:00 AM on Sunday morning Officer Kyle Cornelius noticed a vehicle with it’s rear license plate light out making a turn onto East Street from westbound US 90 in Liberty. The vehicle was a dark colored Camero with a driver and three passengers one of which was a juvenile. According to Officer Cornelius during the traffic stop the driver exhibited signs of intoxication including slurred speech and a standard field sobriety test was administered. The group claimed they were coming from a party out in the County east of Liberty but were not sure where. Found in the vehicle was large, empty whiskey bottle.
The passengers were released to a driver who came to pick the three up and take them home.
