Dayton Restaurant Victim of Armed Robbery
DAYTON, February 13, 2012 – According to Dayton Police Department Detective Doug O’Quinn Humphrey’s Restaurant in the same building as the Vineyard in Dayton was robbed at gun point by three masked men at 10:19 PM on Monday night after the restaurant had closed for the evening.
Dayton Police Officers and Detectives were still on the scene investigating the incident at 1:00 AM Tuesday.
According to Detective O’Quinn all three men have been identified. Two appear to be from out of state and one is local to our area. The men range in age from about 19 to 24 years of age. They appeared to be experienced and one is thought to be a former employee of the restaurant.
O’Quinn also said that during the robbery a struggle began damaging some merchandise in the Vineyard.
The three suspects now in custody all charged with Aggrevated Robbery a First Degree Felony are Tyler Garrettt age 18 of Dayton, formerly of North Texas, Brandon Cox age 24 of Dayton formerly of Hugo Oklahoma and Brandon Jaggers age 19 of Dayton.
Additionally O’Quinn informed i-dineout.com that an undetermined amount of money was taken from the restaurant and that a significant portion of the stolen money has been recovered along with the weapon used in the robbery.
