Whitney Houston Dead at 48

LOS ANGELES, February 11, 2012 – News reports are streaming in with the news that Whitney Houston was found dead by her bodyguard in her hotel room at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles.

Her performance of the National Anthem at the Super Bowl and her album, the soundtrack from the Body Guard cemented her place as one the best voices of all time.

Billboard put her soundtrack to the 1992 movie "The Bodyguard" as one of the top 10 biggest-selling albums of all time. Songs on the album include

I’ll always love you written by Dolly Parton
I have nothing
Run to you
Jesus Loves Me

Houston was the cousin of Dionne Warwick.

It is incredible that one family produced both Dionne Warwick and Whitney Houston, both musical legends.
