Auto Theft Suspect Arrested at Wal-Mart

LIBERTY, April 1, 2012 – An alert off-duty Dayton Police Officer observed a man attempting to remove a license plate from a vehicle in the Wal-Mart parking lot of Friday, March 30, 2012 around 1:30 PM in the afternoon. The officer questioned the suspicious activity and the subject became evasive attempting to move from the area. It was then that the Dayton Officer called the Liberty Police Department.
