Hazardous Weather Outlook

DAYTON, November 25, 2012 - MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY GULF MOISTURE WILL INCREASE TODAY AND MONDAY AHEAD OF AN UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCE AND COLD FRONT. A LINE OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE ALONG AND AHEAD OF THE FRONT. GULF MOISTURE SHOULD SUPPORT AT LEAST MARGINAL INSTABILITY MONDAY EVENING AND NIGHT. WIND SHEAR SHOULD BE STRONG ENOUGH TO SUPPORT ORGANIZED THUNDERSTORM ACTIVITY. STRONG TO SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS MAY BE POSSIBLE WITH HAIL AND DAMAGING STRAIGHT LINE WINDS AS THE MAIN THREATS. THE THREAT SHOULD BE NORTH AND EAST OF A HOUSTON TO HUNTSVILLE LINE. A COLD FRONT SHOULD PUSH THROUGH EARLY TUE MORNING AND CLEAR OUT ANY LINGERING SHOWERS.
