|All Divas need a Night Out…
LIBERTY, February 16, 2012 - Plan to meet your friends at the 2012 PINK Fight Night Event on Feb. 28th from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. FREE Entertainment, FREE refreshments, FREE information, FREE services, and Lots of Vendors and Exhibitors who will pamper your health!
Texas AgriLife Extension Service Liberty County Agent, Alexis Cordova, is partnering with the organizations involved with the Liberty County Health Awareness Coalition and the Susan G. Komen Foundation for the Cure to bring you a Friend to Friend: Staying Well Together program. This program’s purpose is to encourage women to get regular mammograms and Pap tests for the early detection of breast and cervical cancer, when the disease is most curable. For every woman 40 and over, a mammogram is a must! For most women, a Pap test is a must, too!
The Friend to Friend program makes it easy for you by providing up-to-date information on breast cancer and mammograms and on cervical cancer and Pap tests from a health professional. It answers your questions and concerns about mammograms and Pap tests. If you attend the PINK Event, you will help FIGHT to prevent cancer and provide you with opportunities to obtain these important screenings free or for a low cost!
The Liberty County Health Awareness Coalition invites you to join them at the PINK Fight Night party on February 28th, 2012 at 4:00 p.m.- 7:00 p.m. The party will be held at the Liberty Center located at 1829 Sam Houston, Liberty, TX 77575. FREE Clinical Breast Exams will be offered on a first come first serve basis! You may also set your appointment to have your Mammogram screening on The Rose’s Mobile Mammography Unit in Liberty or Dayton! All women welcome regardless if you have insurance or not!
