Two Arrested for Organized Retail Theft
LIBERTY, August 4, 2012 – Friday night around 9:00 PM the City of Liberty Police Department was summoned to Wal-Mart to investigate the theft of merchandise from the store.
One suspect, Justin Sensbach age 19 of Missouri Street in Liberty, had been detained in the store and another identified as Cody Bankhead of Webster Street in Liberty fled from the property.
After considerable investigation Bankhead was located at the Park Place Apartments on Cook Road in Liberty having taken refuge in one of the apartments.
Bankhead was detained and transported back to the Wal-Mart Store and the investigation into the incident was completed.
Both Bankhead and Sensbach were taken into custody and transported to the Liberty County Jail charged with Organized Retail Theft
