|Residents Disturbed by Woman Early Sunday Morning
LIBERTY, February 5, 2012 - Officer Cedric McDuffy and City of Liberty EMS responded to a residence at 602 Wallisville just north of the Elks Lodge in Liberty in the very early morning hours of Sunday while it was still pitch dark.
According to Officer McDuffie a white female identified as Ashley McCormick approximately 22 years old of Liberty had appeared at the residence telling the occupants that she had been dropped off by her boyfriend at this location and was abandon.
She was went inside the home and went into the bathroom where she vomited a couple of times, came out of the bathroom and crawled into the homeowners bed making herself comfortable and passed out becoming unconscious and unresponsive.
At some point during all of this, the homeowner notified the police for assistance and requested an ambulance for the woman.
According to Officer McDuffie medics had done everything to wake the woman up including a sternum rub but at the time of this interview had been unsuccessful.
McCormick was eventually transported to Liberty Dayton Regional Medical Center in Liberty for diagnosis and treatment.
