Second Encounter in as Many Nights
LIBERTY, August 3, 2012 – You may recall from our story yesterday concerning the arrest of Jimmy Kelly age 46 of Liberty at the Murphy’s Gas Station in front of Wal-Mart for an outstanding warrant that the late model Ford Pickup he was a passenger in was registered to Mickey Noonnkester age 66 of Liberty. The pickup is equipped with a court ordered interlock device according to Law Enforcement. According to Public Records, Jimmy Kelly and Mickey Noonkester share the same residence address.
The woman behind the wheel of the pickup at the Murphy’s Station was pictured in the photograph below.
The vehicle was towed from the Murphy’s Gas Station last night and the woman in the photograph was identified as Andrea Renea Adams age 30 of Liberty.
Around 2:30 AM Friday morning Adams was spotted by a resident in the Ridgewood Subdivision looking into the resident’s vehicle and reported the incident to Liberty Police.
Officer Kyle Cornelius was dispatched to investigate and found Adams riding a child’s bicycle near the intersection of Hillcrest and Ridgewood Streets.
According to Officer Cornelius Adams had exhibited slurred speech and unsteady balance and conducted a standard field sobriety test.
Andrea Adams was taken into custody on charges of Public Intoxication and transported to the Liberty County Jail thought to be under the influence of an unknown substance.
The bicycle was returned to its’ rightful owner by Officer Josh Cummins who assisted Officer Cornelius in this investigation.
Noonkester, Kelly and Adams all live in the Ridgewood Subdivision.
