Frank Jordan Starts Campaign for County Judge LIBERTY, November 2, 2009 - Monday morning Frank Jordan of Liberty announced that he’s running for County Judge of Liberty County on the Democratic Ticket. A gathering of reporters, family and local supporters was at the gazebo on the grounds of the Liberty City Hall where Jordan made his announcement around 10:00 AM today. Jordan is interested in having Liberty County mentioned in a positive way and promoting the county. “We need to focus on the positive things in Liberty County,” said Jordan. Additionally Jordan told of his executive experience in business that he brings to the office of County Judge.
Present at Jordan’s announcement this morning were his daughter-in-law Ashley, son Mark, wife Connie and 4-month-old grandson. According to Jordan the job of County Judge consists of, “Planning and research to determine future actions and bring money from Washington back to Liberty County.”
Jordan stated, “When Liberty County’s image is tarnished we need to communicate the positives and act with integrity. Let’s deliver the facts and avoid scandal," said Jordan. “Let’s plan and act so that the residents of Liberty County can have a balanced economy between commerce, small businesses and residents. Let’s develop the resources that we have,” said Jordan. “Let’s budget effectively from available funds.” |
