Marcus Brand Announces Candidacy for County Commissioner

LIBERTY, November 5, 2009 - Marcus Travis Brand announced today that he is running for the position of Liberty County Commissioner, Pct. 2, as a Republican.

Marcus is a fifth generation Liberty County native. He is President of the Methodist Men’s Bible class at First United Methodist Church in Liberty. He also served in the US Army Reserves for over 10 years achieving the rank of Staff Sergeant and also the honor of Drill Sergeant. Marcus has worked in over twenty countries around the world and has the knowledge to handle county problems when they arise.

He believes in hard work, honesty, integrity, ethical decisions and lowering taxes. Marcus respectively asks your support for his run for the job of serving the good citizens of Liberty County as Commissioner, Pct. 2.
