Fatality Wreck Sunday Evening
 

LIBERTY June 24, 2019 - Liberty Police are investigating a major crash which happened shortly before 9:00 p.m. in the 3900 block of North Main in the City of Liberty.

Police responded to the crash scene shortly before 9:00 p.m. on Sunday evening.  Initial investigation determined that a Ford Fusion (4door) passenger car was traveling north on North Main St..  The Ford Fusion traveled into the south bound lane striking a Ford (4 door) dual wheeled truck head on.  The driver of the Fusion was pronounced dead at the scene by Justice of the Peace Pct. #5 Wade Brown.  The driver and two passengers of the pickup truck were transported by air ambulance to Herman Hospital in Houston.  All were said to be in stable condition.  No names are being released at this time.  Awaiting notification to family members and ongoing investigation.
