LIBERTY March 25, 2019 - On 03/23/2019 an OFFICER with The City of Liberty Police Department was dispatched to a local place of business in reference to a theft in progress.

The OFFICER arrived and waited outside of the business. The subject was then stopped by employees at the business and brought into a secure room.

	The employee advised that the subject passed all points of sale. At this time the subject was placed into custody and transported to the liberty County Jail for processing.

It was further learned that the subject had two previous convictions for theft.
