2019 Food Handler Certification Class Dates
 

LIBERTY January 26, 2018 -  Do you work in food service or have your own cottage food business?  Make sure your Food Handlers Certification is current, they expire every 2 years!

Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service Liberty County Agent, Alexis Cordova, teaches the 2 Hour Food Handlers Certification Class.  Texas Department of State Health Services accredited food handler’s programs are scheduled for:

February 6, 2019

April 3, 2019

June 5, 2019

August 7, 2019

September 11, 2019

November 13, 2019

This 2 hour class is now required every 2 years for all food service employees to help promote the service of safe food. The class is a basic overview of food safety practices that are necessary to ensure you serve safe food at your establishment. Some practices discussed are:  Good Personal Hygiene; Cross Contamination; Time and Temperature abuse; and Storage.

If you would like to learn more, please sign up today for one of the upcoming 2 hour food handlers certification classes that are held at the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service Liberty County Office located at 501 palmer Ave. in Liberty, TX 77575. Reserve your spot by calling (936)334-3230 prior to class date.  The cost of the class is $20 and payment in the form of cash or check will be received at the time of registration on the day of class.  The class begins at 9:00 a.m. and will conclude by 11:00 a.m.  Personal Identification Cards will be mailed to participant within 2 weeks of class completion.
