Former Liberty County Clerk Delia Sellers Seeks The Office of Liberty County District Clerk
LIBERTY, January 15, 2018 - Former Liberty County Clerk Delia Sellers is seeking the office of Liberty County District Clerk in the March 6, 2018 Republican primary election. Mrs. Sellers has 27 years experience working in the Liberty County Courthouse. During her four consecutive terms as Liberty County Clerk, Mrs. Sellers established a reputation for hard work, dependability and professionalism. As Liberty County Clerk, Mrs. Sellers maintained litigation files for civil and criminal matters, including birth, marriage and death records, and oversaw the election process and election results. In addition, she received, filed and maintained a constant stream of documents involving property transactions for the citizens of Liberty County. During her tenure as County Clerk Mrs. Sellers work closely with County Commissioners, the County Court, the County Court –At-Law, and legal professionals from Liberty and surrounding counties.
Mrs. Sellers and her husband Michael are forty year residents of Devers. They have two children, Justin (and wife Jessica) and Abby ( and husband Aaron), along with three grandchildren. Mrs. Sellers is currently a Trustee of the Devers ISD School Board and is dedicated to serving her community. Liberty County wants, need and deserve a District Clerk with integrity and the ability to do the job right.
