Sears Customer Service Representatives are Sensitive People EDITORIAL
CHICAGO October 1, 2018 - If bad grammar and bad language offends you stop reading this article and visit another page on this site. Ordering a dishwasher from Sears over the phone is a new experience. My dishwasher went on the fritz and died and I wanted a Bosch dishwasher from Sears and have them deliver and install it. It had to have a few features on it including the right color to suit my preferences. When I called the phone number for the Baytown Store an oriental man answered my call. I had no idea where he was located perhaps on the other side of the world. He had difficulty with the English language as I’m sure it was a second language for him. I kept having to ask him to repeat himself because I couldn’t understand him on the phone. He took loads of information including name, phone number, e-mail address, credit card information and much more to place the order. We finally got through the entire process and the order was placed. It took a long time with the representative having to repeat himself over and over again but the transaction was finally completed. Only a few minutes after placing the order, I got an e-mail from Sears asking me to participate in a survey about my experience with the customer service representative that had helped me. I never participate in these things but this time I did. I always wondered what happened when you do. Well now I know. Remember the Customer Service Representative has all your information and all I said in the survey was that the representative should learn to speak English. This morning I received an e-mail from the Customer Service Representative that assisted me in purchasing my new dishwasher. It reads as follows…
With all the financial problems that Sears is having now wiith closing stores and its’ stock price going through the floor I thought they should know about this so I called Sears Corporate headquarters near Chicago and forwarded them Mr. Ngocit’s e-mail. Remember, Sears Customer Service Representatives are sensitive people. |
