Herd Bull Evaluation and Selection Seminar
LIBERTY, January 23, 2018 - The Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service, Liberty County is presenting a Herd Bull Evaluation and Selection seminar on January 30, 2018 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. This program will be held at the GH White Ranch Headquarters on FM 2518 in Cleveland. The cost for attending will be $10.00 with lunch provided. Speakers include Dr. Joe Paschal, TAMU AgriLife Beef Cattle Specialist and Dwayne Easley & Associates with the Texas Animal Health Commission. Some of the topics covered will be breed characteristics, selection factors for grading up, semen collection and evaluation and Trich updates. This program is sponsored by First Liberty National Bank, Capital Farm Credit and Sam Houston Electric Cooperative.
