Directions: from Hwy. 90, turn north on Travis St. (between Kentucky Fried Chicken and Whataburger), cross over the railroad tracks- The FLNB Corner is at the intersection of Sam Houston Av. and Travis St.

On Saturday, Sept 15, 2018, the LTVBC fieldtrip will be to the Gulf Coast Bird Observatory in Lake Jackson, TX to observe mist netting, data collection on the physical condition of the migrants, and bird banding. If the GCBO is not open, we will visit the Smith Point Hawk Watch on Sept 23th or 30th.
