LIBERTY, January 2, 2018 - A Liberty Police Officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for a traffic violation in the 1500 block of Lakeland in Liberty, Texas when the Officer was advised by the driver that he had marijuana in the vehicle.

The Officer searched the vehicle and located less than a gram of cocaine in a bag that the driver admitted was his.

The driver, identified as Eduardo Lino Hinojosa age 42 of Liberty, was placed in custody for Possession of a Control Substance an transported to the Liberty County Jail.
