LIBERTY August 15, 2018 - On 08/05/2018, Officers with the City of Liberty Police Department were dispatched to the 3000 block of Neyland St. in reference to a fight.

Upon arrival the Officers located a victim who had been cut with a knife. The victim declined EMS. The suspect was located in an apartment. The suspect cut the victim with a pocket knife on the right forearm, causing a laceration, and for it to bleed.

The victim declined to press charges. Fearing further acts of family violence could occur, Sonya Elaine Crawford age 45 was taken into custody, charged with Aggravated Assault Family Violence and transported to the Liberty County Jail.
