Robbery and Home Invasion in Liberty

LIBERTY June 13, 2018 ⎯ On Wednesday June 13, 2018 at approximately 4:50 am the Liberty Police Department received a report of an Armed Robbery and Home-invasion at “The Park Place Apartments” located at 2340 Cook Road, in apartment number A.  Upon arrival officers located a B/F (Victim #1) in the parking lot, who had been “pistol-whipped” by Suspect #1 using a small semi-automatic pistol.  Suspect #1 was described as a B/M wearing a dark hoodie.

Shortly thereafter, a witness, exited apartment A and saw Victim #1 bent over, as if she was looking for something.  The witness then attempted to go back into the apartment and close the door, when Suspect #2 described as a W/M also wearing a dark colored hoodie, forced open the door.  Suspect #2 then headed straight to a back bedroom where he then began assaulting Victim #2 also a B/F, with what was described as an expandable baton.  As Suspect #2 was attempting to flee the apartment he punched another B/F (Victim #3) in the face dislodging a tooth.  The suspects then fled the scene on foot, and were not located.

Victims 1 and 2 were transported to the Liberty-Dayton Hospital for medical attention.  During a search of the area some evidence was collected and will be submitted for lab analysis.
