LIBERTY, February 7, 2018 -
I, Wade Brown, am running for re-election as your Justice of the Peace Precinct 5. This will be my 3rd term to serve the people of Precinct 5.
Prior to being elected to my first term in 2010, I taught school for 28 years as a Career and Technology Teacher, retiring from Tarkington ISD.
I served on the Board of Directors for TIVA (Career and Technology Teachers Association) for 20 years, Elected President of that organization for 2009-2010. I was recognized by the Texas Senate in 2010 for my leadership of that organization. TIVA represents over 4000 teachers and 1,000,000 students enrolled in Texas public schools.
I have lived in the Tarkington area for 36 years, where me and my late wife, Brenda K. Brown raised our family.
I have done what I said I would do when I was first elected, and I will continue to work for the people of Precinct 5. I attend Justice Court Training seminars provided by the Justice Court Training Center for my continuing education to stay up to date with the new and changing laws. The Juvenile programs I instituted are having success. I have no backlogs in any of the courts under my jurisdiction, and all court books are balanced.
I have a good working relationship with Law Enforcement and other county offices. I am available 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. (Inquest, Magistration and Warrants)
My Court Clerk’s, Lynn and Hanah, do an excellent job for Precinct 5's office.
I require them to attend Justice Court Training for Clerks to keep them up with the new laws governing their duties, and they do a great job for you.
I am asking for your Vote and continued support in the 2018 Republican Primary Election. Early voting starts Tuesday, February 20th through Friday, March 2nd and Election day is March 6th, 2018.
Going on Eight years of Proven Leadership and always Fair and Impartial..
One Nation under God with Liberty and Justice for All.
