LIBERTY April 2, 2018 ⎯ Romayor gauge is at 35.34 at 3 30 pm, having fallen some three feet since late Friday.
Liberty gauge is showing 29.3 and the National Weather Service continues to take the level to 29.7,however,we will watch to see if that projection is lowered tomorrow or if it holds true.
Moss Bluff gauge is at 14.13 and is projected to rise to near 15.2 late tomorrow or Tuesday. We will watch this projection as well to see how it plays out.
We will continue to monitor and update as needed...we do anticipate some additional rainfall on Tuesday so we will just have to see how much rain falls and how the river responds.
Latest information we received indicated the Livingston Dam was continuing to release 53,000 cfs and the lake level is falling.
Right now the only impact we are aware of is water over some riverfront subdivision entry roads near the Trinity and this event should not affect areas outside the flood plain of the Trinity River.
Updates as warranted..
