At Liberty the river is still in major flood stage at 29.17 after a crest near 29.46.

These levels continue to put water over some riverfront area subdivision roads in middle and southern portions of the county ,however, there are no reports of water entering any homes along the river.
Bottom line is that we do have rainfall in tonight's forecast but so far it does not appear this rainfall will increase the flooding potential along the river, however, we will monitor and update if necessary.
Barring any unanticipated issues, this will be the final update on this event. The forecast calls for the Trinity River to fall below flood stage throughout Liberty County by Sunday .
