LIBERTY December 3, 2018 - On 11/25/2018, a Officer with the City of Liberty Police Department was dispatched to the 1700 block of F.M. 160 N in reference to a welfare concern.

While in the area the Officer observed a silver passenger car pass by him. The Officer had knowledge of a stolen silver vehicle that was in the area.

The Officer turned around to check the vehicle out. The Officer observed the stolen vehicle. The Officer stopped the vehicle. Officers detained the subjects in the vehicle.

After the investigation the driver was taken into custody and the passenger was able to leave the scene.
