Two Arrested in Drug Investigation

LIBERTY, March 1, 2017 - Liberty Police arrested two subjects in the last two days related to a drug investigation which was initially reported as employees selling narcotics while working at a local business.

The first subject who was arrested shortly after 2:00 a.m. on Sunday the 27th of February was identified as David Taylor age 43 of Liberty.

Mr. Taylor was found to be in possession of methamphetamine after a traffic stop which was related to the drug investigation.  He was charged with Possession of Controlled Substance PG 1 Less then or equal to 1 gram but less then 4 grams.  This is a third degree felony.

The second subject who had also been looked at in the same investigation was arrested around 9:15 p.m. on Monday the 27th. 

She was identified as Heather Mancha age 26 also of Liberty.  Ms. Mancha was found with Methamphetamine and charged with Possession of Controlled Substance PG 1 Greater then or equal to 4 grams but less then 200 grams.  This is a second degree felony.
