February Meeting of the LOWER TRINITY VALLEY BIRD CLUB
LIBERTY, February 3, 2017 - The February meeting of the LOWER TRINITY VALLEY BIRD CLUB will be held on, Thursday, Feb. 9, 2017 at 6:30 p.m. at The FLNB Corner (1822 Sam Houston Av, Liberty, TX) across for the First Liberty National Bank.
Directions: from Hwy. 90, turn north on Travis St. (between Kentucky Fried Chicken and Whataburger), cross over the railroad tracks- The FLNB Corner is at the intersection of Sam Houston Av. and Travis St.

Our speaker for February will be Lonnie Castleman and his presentation will be over Eastern Bluebirds. Anyone who joins the Texas Bluebird Society ($15) at the meeting will receive a free bluebird nestbox and Lonnie will teach us the correct way to mount and maintain the nestbox.
Lonnie Castleman is a member of Texas Bluebird Society and North American Bluebird Society. He has served as a Board Member, Vice President, Nestbox Builder Coordinator and Nestbox Distributor. Lonnie is currently involved in all things "Bluebird" and serves as host for membership booths at various functions, a tour guide at the Wills Point Bluebird festival and maintains a 50 box Bluebird Trail at Westwood Shores CC, where he lives.
Lonnie is Retired from Shell in Deer Park. He lives in Trinity, Tx with his wife and they have two daughters, three granddaughters, and a great-granddaughter. Lonnie says '" I've never met a Bluebirder that I didn't like "!
